Furikup is a great application no doubt about it. Just shows how much is acomplished with homebrew. On Friday 29th February, Sony, together with BT launched Go! Messenger and I have to say it's very good. I just want to know if Furikup users will still use there application when there's Go! Messenger now. What's you view guys?

Of Topic: Yes, I speak, read and write Greek. My family all have Cypriot roots (I hate it when people assume I'm from Greece! ) and I'm brought up in a Greek culture. Like most Greeks, I'm Christian and go to church and have one BIG fat Greek family. Back On Topic: What is the main advantage that Furikup gives you that Go! Messenger doesn't?

offtopic: Yes i do Το pspgr είναι ένα ελληνικό φόρουμ που περιέχει τα πάντα (Homebrew, CFW ...) Εχτός φυσικά απο πειρατικά παιχνίδια.. Εάν θέλεις γίνε μέλος και μπές και εσύ στην κοινότητα Είναι το καλύτερο απο Ελλάδα και Κύπρο btw, απλά το αναφέρω γιατί εγώ έφαγα αρκετό καιρό για να βρώ ένα καλό ελληνικό φόρουμ που να ασχολείτε με psp... ontopic: Haven't tried it yet XD (landlines calls from psp ) But i know for sure that there isn't any other way for Phat psp's!

Both Go! Messenger and Furikup is for PSP fats and PSP Slims. Skype, however is only for Slims. Hope that solves your question. Angelo

It should do... it depends what region your PSP is set to.
Go! Messenger only works if your PSP has been set to the European region. In official firmware, this is automaticly set to where you buy it. If I was to go out and get a PSP now (I live in the UK) it will probably be set to either region "United Kingdom" or "Europe".
Custom firmware allows you to bypass Sony's restrictions and you can change to any region you want.
I take it you're not from Europe then... to enable Go! Messenger on your PSP to this:
Instructions:
- Fully turn off your PSP. - Boot into recovery mode by holding down the R trigger button whilst turning on. - Scroll down to configuration. - Set "Free Region" to "Europe". (This will turn your PSP's region to Europian) - Set "Free UMD Region" to "Enable". (This will allow you to play any UMD regardless of it's region!)
I hope my answer is detailed enough!

If your region is set to Europe, then yes. Oh, and you need a WiFi connection.

All I can say is try it out! Word of warning: Setting up your Go! Messenger account can take up to 10 minutes and you need to give yourself at least 2 hours to varify your account via email. Also, if saying that you are from Australia isn't possible (since the service is only for Europians) jut say you're from the UK. Have fun!
