Datel Headset for SOCOM3 labeled as "WiFi Compatible"
I use VoiPBuster, I was able to make calls, but the receiver continuously ears a machine gun or pneumatic-hammer like noise as the wifi led blinks. I know other user with the same problem using VoipCheap
PSP Ceramic White
FW 3.71M33-4
Datel Headset for SOCOM3 labeled as "WiFi Compatible"
Configuration
sipcfg.ini
server=sip.voipbuster.com
username=user
password=pass
stunserver=stun.voipbuster.com
stunport=3478
input=headset
UPDATE:
My WIFI network is OPEN, no encryption.
My FAT has a clean FW, no plugings and no other programs in the MS.
This headset doesn't need the remote, has the remote conector built-in.
I tried the WAV file, same server, same settings (except input=file) and I obtain CLEAR sound.
So, isn't the service provider or the wifi network neither.
I think the only problem is with the headset.

I was getting the same tap in my calls. at first I thought I just wasn't close enough to my router. I moved closer to the router, and it wasn't any better. After sleeping on it last night I think I have 2 possibilites. My first thought was that it was my Phat running short on ram
but my second thought is turning off encryption on the router. I'm wondering if the encrypt/decrypt step between the two my the the pause, or 'click' in the stream. I'm using sipgate btw, and thats what it was tested on, so I dont think it's the headset, nor do I think it's the server. I'm going to play around with it this morning and see if I have any luck

Firstly we have had problems with voipbuster before, hence the recomendation not to use it. However in order to get to the bottom of your issue, do you have the remote control plugged in as well as the headset, as it needs to be.

To play the automatic message on pick up you need to specify the input device as '
wave
' 'file'
But thats in the readme

try running it with iRShell installed, it has the ability to disable the lights, and may prove to stop that noise.

Hi all, got it working yesterday using FWD and Sipgate, made a homebrew type headset with mic, also got the Jack Hammer noise I unplugged head set and was still there in sync with the Wifi Light..I will try some of the above to see what happens.
Edit:
Also using Phat PSP 3.52-4

Were you getting any of the real sound through, or was it just lots of noise. The reason I ask is that we did find that we had problems with the USB mic (which also uses an identical interface to the headset) and as the only one I have is the USB camera it becomes quite hard to debug.

I was getting audio as well as the Jack Hammer, did not mater if mike was in or out...I tested on FWD with the echo, the voice to me was noisey but audible, when it went to Echo the Jack Hammer increased. Yet to try any USB mic
I have found the audio to me from test server SIPgate better than FWD at the present.
Cheers
