Compatible VOIP providers

Please post here with details of service providers that you have tested the phone with, along with details of whether it was successful, and the services that they offer, and the countries that they cover.
I'll collect all the details together into a list of recommended service providers.
Recommended providers:
UK:
SIPGate
[free to register, free PSTN->PSP, pay PSP->PSTN, works perfectly]
DE:
SIPGate
[untested but should work]
Known not to work:
voipbuster.com

We tested against SIPGate (
www.sipgate.co.uk
) in the UK, and it works perfectly.
They're free to register with, and offer both free PSTN->PSP (so you can phone your PSP), and pre-paid PSP->PSTN (so you can call your phone from your PSP). Calling from VOIP to VOIP is free.
The PSP SIP phone doesn't work against their STUN server though - so use the stun.voipbuster.com server, which is already set up in the config.

Well I've tried
www.sipservice.eu
and didn't have any luck .... never even got the screen to place calls
I tried
http://www.voipcheap.com
and I got it to the screen to place calls but no calls seem to go through
what is this part in the contact.txt file:
SIP test,sip:10000@sipgate.co.uk,sip,test
nickname,sip:number@sip.server.com,firstname,lastname
landline,sip:00441234567890@sipgate.co.uk,landline,01234567890
the part I refer to is the 00441234567890 in the landline section?
I assume the last set of numbers is the area that you put the actual phone number correct?

Service: SipPhone
Site:
www.sipphone.com
PC -> PC
PC -> Mobile/Landline for a fee
Other: Free to Register
My sipcfg.ini:
Code:
server=proxy01.sipphone.com
username=XaviorPenguin <--Username you created, not your SIP or SIP URI
password=xxxx <--Password obviously
stunserver=stun01.sipphone.com <--Will also work with stun.voipbuster.com
stunport=3478
input=usbcam
Will work again with Mobile/Landline
My entry in my contacts.txt
Code:
My Cell Phone,sip:11231231234@proxy01.sipphone.com,Xavior,Penguin
Obviously 1 and then your phone number
Made a test call to my Cell Phone, it was "static'ee" but it went through. Have not tried PSP -> PSP yet. Tested with GoCam!.
I believe this is in the US.

XaviorPenguin -
I tried your setting info and it doesn't seem to want to get past the "registering with server"
I tried with stunserver=stun01.sipphone.com and also stunserver=stun.voipbuster.com
any ideas?

Setup took about 10 minutes, then I was calling all of my family with my psp!
//edit by loonix: fixed the link. I belive that provider is expensive and allows no free cals to other VOIP proverders, does it?

I tried sipservice.eu too
but i had no luck. maybe there is a setting that we dont get
but probably its incompatible.
the format of the contacts file is as far ass i see it:
[DisplayedName],sip:[SIP Phone number@SIP-Provider],[Fistname],[Lastname]
I am not shure about the phone number format since i did not manage to call my mobile til now ':)

Maybe this will help you:
Worldwide provider directory by 'MyVOIPprovider.com'
I have not tested them and cant say anything about its actuality.

What about Ekiga? I setup a couple of Ekiga's account but it didn't work, but it's because the STUN server. I can't find any to connect to. Can anyone write some please? My PSP stays always at "Server: Connecting", and then it freezes.
