Hey can't get this to work...please help...
when i launch the program, after it DOES CONNECT, it says:

Initializing Camera... (please ensure it is plugged in)
Processed address book : 3 contacts
Starting up...
Registering with server...

and that is where it freezes.  I have read the entire forum and some said that if it froze on "registering with server", you need to disable security....but we have NO SECURITY on our wireless...so what could be up?

furikup is placed in Game371 folder, and I am on 3.71 m33-1

here are my config settings:

server=sip.voipbuster.com
username=(username here)
password=(password here)
stunserver=stun.voipbuster.com
stunport=3478
input=headset

I have also tried changing stunport to 5060, with no luck...please help!

Many Thanks in advance!

I had to check my settings for my provider.  rather than using the username for like logging into the website, i had to put in the SIP number, and I tried another one, that had some completely diffrent numbe that I had to put in.  go the help section of your SIP providor, look up a help document on setting up like a cell phone, pick just about any piece of equipment.  somewhere in that tutorial will ussually be a screen shot of a device with all the correct setting that work for that particular SIP server, usually these docs will also tell you if they have a stun server and what it's address and port is

UK: UKnumber Tested. Working.
Get a free incoming United Kingdom (056 or 0870 area code) PSTN phone number.
This number can be dailed from a cellphone or landline to reach your PSP.

Although this will work with the UK, those numbers are premium rate, i.e. will cost a packet - and are usually excluded from free call packages from your standard phone provider.

Probably better to use SIPGate for incoming calls in the UK, their numbers are standard regional numbers (and you can generally get one in your area code, so it counts as a local call to you and people near you).  SIPGate was great during our testing, since I have a call package from Sky that includes free local calls any time, I was able to call my SIPGate number for free every time.

Well, i'm new here on this NoobZ! Site! Oviously I make myself member cause of the VOIP Calls Via PSP Hombrew called FURIKUP (V1.0) and I just found a list of VOIP providers:

www.internetcalls.com
www.netappel.com
www.poivy.com

www.sparvoip.de
www.voipbuster.com
www.voipcheap.com
www.voipcheap.co.uk (careful, different “free” list from voipcheap.com, and rates listed in Sterling Pence instead of Euro Cents!)
www.voipdiscount.com
www.voipstunt.com
www.freecall.com (launched 29 June 2006)
www.voiparound.com (launched 29 June 2006) - redirects to www.freecall.com now
www.lowratevoip.com
www.justvoip.com (launched 15 March 2007)

Honestly I Did not test any of this provders! I live in Puerto Rico and I don't think this Providers should work on my country... maybe... But My country is part of USA so I think any VOIP provider of USA should work for PR... Rigth!

Well Just testing for me now!

THANKX  Fanjita and NoobZ! for the BIG! Help You guys GIVE!  Grin

Honestly!

PSTN access numbers:

List of PSTN Access Numbers provided by SIP Broker.
These numbers can be dailed from a cellphone or landline to reach your PSP.
Useful only of your chozen VoIP provider doesn't supply free local PSTN numbers.

Some Numbers Tested. Working, with FWD and PSP.

Dial the access number, and at the voice prompt, dial [sip-code][number]
Example For FWD dial *393FWDNumber.
Replace "FWDNumber" with your actual number.

List of other VoIP provider's SIP-Codes to use with these access numbers.

Please check with your phone service provider, and make sure that these numbers are local
or included in your calling plan.

When saying that it dos not work please copy/paste your config files with username&password changed to xxx or something.

Please try and actually provide some clear details as to what your problem is, there are a lot of problems that you could be having. I would guess that it is due to the fact that you have multiple network connections setup and the GUI currently just uses the first connection, but that is 100% a guess.

PC callers do not need an FWD account.

Replace "FWDNumber" with your actual number.

Example:
My PSP's Web Presence (linked to my Web Call)

Problems:

-  How to input the password to retrieve Voice Mail1

- SIP URI with that need asterisk * or plus + in order to place a call.
Such as numbers out side of the FWD network2.

1 Interface limitations?
Edit: 2 Peering was down between FWD and some SIP providers. It works now.

It kinda works but i'm still confused about something.
I did all the above so my account is set.
I connect with my psp and for example the echo test works fine.
But on the website when i choose the option "call me ' am i not supposed to receive the call on my psp?
Cause when i choose call me, nothing happens.

I installed the windows fwd configurator, and when i choose "call me" on the website, then it does work on the fwd configurator, i actually receive a call.
Any idea why i can't seem to receive calls on my psp? I also created an account for my friend to try it PSP to PSP but when we call each other you immediately go on the voice mail...
Thanks for the help.

FWD is free as long as the call is VoIP.

All Incoming PSTN calls to your PSP are free (free to you, but might not be free to the person calling you).

See my Free PSTN Number and PSTN Access Numbers posts.

Outgoing calls are free to Toll Free Numbers only.

To call +1 -800-555-8355 a Toll Free number in the US that gives you News, Sports, and Weather updates. Use this in your contacts.txt:

Code:
TELL News Sports Weather,sip:*18005558355@fwd.pulver.com,TELL,InfoLine

To call out to landlines and cellphones for free, you may want to use a diffrent VoIP provider that has this option.

I may be wrong on this, but I  believe this happends when the PSP doesn't "register" to the FWD server.
Furikup will say "Connected" but FWD can't route the call.

My guess will be the firewall ports. Open the ports listed, and forward them to the IP address that the PSP is using. Since you must use DHCP so you need to check what the current address is.

My laptop is connected by wifi. There is no firewall on the laptop nor on the wifi router.
I am able to receive calls on my laptop so i would presume the necessary ports are open, no?
Calling from the PSP to the laptop also works. I must be registered to FWD at that moment, otherwise i wouldn't be able to make the call from my PSP to my laptop, right?
I tried and tried but i can't seem to get incoming calls on the PSP.
Weird...

Will try to forward the ports to the PSP as you suggested.
You say :

Open the ports listed, and forward them to the IP address that the PSP is using
Stupid question probably... How can i check the ip address my PSP is using?

Oh and by the way, dunno if this info is helpful :
