Targus dont works with 3.80 m33 Afkim/pspirc

Today I installed 3.80 m33 and tried to start afkim.
Then I tried to chat with targus kb... but nothing happened!

With 3.71 m33 all worked fine.
Same  prob. with PSPirc!

And i couldnt install newest pikey..

How solve problems?

Wait, I´m sure a new version of those applications should appear soon.

In the meantime you can downgrade to 3.71 M33 and everything should be back to normal.

You should evaluate if at this current moment it is worth loosing the keyboard just to have the latest firmware, and then take a decision.

Don't worry guys.

In 3.80, a lot of things won't work. You can tell because the second digit has changed: 3.80. Just wait for devs to fix them.

As for you not being able to install Unofficial piKey 0.4, it's because the installer is in the 1.50 kernel. Since 3.80 M33 doesn't have 1.50 kernel yet you can install it.

A quick note. Unofficial piKey 0.4 does work in 3.80 M33 very well, but there are a few things that don't work. It fails to work in Game / UMD / Demo / CSO / ISO. I think it's because the plugin needs to 1.50 kernel patch so it works for this.

I suggest if you still want to use Unofficial piKey 0.4, it's best to stick with 3.52 M33 - 4. The next release (if we do another) will suit 3.80 M33 very well.

Just give Dark_AleX a bit of a rest, let him come out with all the bug fixes and the addon kernel packs, and we'll work on Unofficial piKey 0.4. This time it'll be the full edition!

Just give the ocean of the PSP scene to calm down a bit after being hit by Dark_AleX's tidal wave!

öhm. One word. PSPwrite works with the new 1.5 Kernel support by DAX.

PSPpost, too, but with some difficults.

Homebrew developer Dark-AleX has released a CFW 3.80 M33 add-on which allows users to launch homebrew which have not been updated and require the kernel 1.50 to work

Yes it is the 1.50 addon.

O.K, quick update.

Unofficial piKey 0.4 now works in all areas except "Game" mode. Surprisingly it works in "Game150" mode.

Odd?  

We'll get things sorted out!

Hm piKey v0.3 worked but V.04 not.
I removed pikey 0.4 and installed 0.3, and i removed that vshmenu and it worked!
Something with the VSH menu!  
Ill try now 0.4!

Edit: Pikey 0.4 still dont works; Pikey 0.3 does... strange..
How much did you develop now on 3.80m33 support?

PiKey works fine for me 0.4 that is, however all my homebrew crashes and goes straight back to the XMB, except the 1.50 ones that is.

Yeah... I tried Official pikey 0.3 and it's got even more issues than Unofficial piKey 0.4! Plus.. it sucks!

O.K here's the up to date report:

Everything works with Unofficial piKey 0.4 except code that runs above 1.50. VSH and Game 1.50 all work fine. We'll try and fix this.

Looks like since you guys all like the Pre release of "Unofficial piKey 0.4", looks like well release the full edition. This will mean:

-  The "Game" mode fixed.
-  Better documents... Please read them this time people...  
-  The Hama Expansion pack! ... thanks Florian!

Please don't ask for release dates or when it'll be ready, because we don't know. Just be patient and we can ensure you'll have piKey fully operating again!

Did you read the documents? They were kinda there for a reason...  

Also, it helps to uninstall previous versions too.

Uninstall everthing, re-install it and try it again. At least we know 0.3 is working so it can't be a hardwarre issue..

I helped with 1 single fix so far, and that would be with the Danzeff(homebrew OSK)
I'm going to take a look in the code, Angelo keeps saying it is "complex" but it doesn't seem that much for me.
