psp lite doom

hi i just recieved the psp lite and was hoping to play games like doom and quake but as every one prob knows the lite wont run them because of kernel 1.50. i dont have a clu about downgrading really well not enough to be sure i wouldnt brick my psp so i dont really want to mess with the system with out knowiing.if any one could explain how to make doom run on psp lite 3.72 i would see them as father of all knowledge. i have tried eloader 1.0 and homebrew through what i learned but everything just says it could not load. oh and just for piece of mind if you do brick the psp lite is there anyway of unbricking it your self. please help the egg.

Before you can play any homebrew you will have to install Custom Firmware in your PSP, for which you will need a Pandora´s Battery (See our tutorial of the thread where people willing to help is listed).

It's a shame Sony can't just sign a few papers with companies for official emulators and roms.
