I personally think that this project needs a credit check, everyone is just waiting for it to come out but it has absolutely no hype like any other pikey or homebrew.  I appreciate all that this homebrew community has done for me and my portable gaming experience, and people that make it possible, but no one even knows about this project anywhere, on pspupdates.qj.net, on any other site, NOT EVEN THIS ONE.  Angelo, Joseph (Main C coder.)
Hells Plumber (General handy man.), and all the others deserve some credit don't you guys!??

(Sorry if i sound kind of like a butt)

Haha Cleanser23 you biggy squishy butt!

Look, the reason why this hasn't got 'hype' (as you said) is because it never really had it. I mean, think about it. Was piKey ever HUGE like iRShell or DevHook?

This project is to:

-  So I can learn to be part of a team and start coding.

-  Give Fanjita a break... he needs one.

-  To improve and fix piKey for the PSP homebrew scene, because they've given so much to me.

-  Make it BIG... it has to be!    Come on... this can change the way we use our PSP's. The only developer that has acted on IR keyboards is ZX81!

Because the project is leaded by a total inexperienced jackass (me), development is as fast is it could be. If Fanjita was doing this, you would have had this out months ago.  Wink

Also, I'm a bit of a perfectionist... so although the main coding is done, the overall release has to been perfect. Trust me, when it's all done, you guy's will not be disappointed by the result.

Just be patient and I guaranty you'll have a great application.

Thanks for all the support guys!

Hi 3's n twenny3's, I am Noob here but just wanted to hi five on what you guys are doing.
I've been on 3.40OE-A for ages but the other week caught up and got with 3.71M33-3.
Then I see this clip on youtube with some feller typing using a Targus!!
I missed an auction for a really cheap unwanted Targus PA870 v3 but the next day purchased one for £15 from a trusted seller and it arrived today.

I already knew it wouldn't work yet and am still debating with myself should I go back to 3.40OE-a for a while, at least just to play?
OR should I sit and eagerly await the 0.4 release, which sounds like a HOT bit of HOMEBREW!!

Well I just wanted to sit here and be counted, soon hoping to be typing on my psp.  It will be very useful for using forums and messaging while I'm on the move.  Keep up the good work guys I CANNOT wait to play with your homebrew!

Merry Christmas Smiley

Heehee thanks!

I suggest you stick to 3.40 OE - A and have a play around with piKey 0.3. It isn't too bad!

That way you can get a feel of how the application works. Then, (when it comes out) you can install Unofficial piKey 0.4.

It bug fixes mainly and a few other nice things...

Wow, if its before Christmas, then it would be today. Of course, if it still needs a bit of work, it can be delayed. Cheesy

Anyway, everyone appreciates your work! Ive been checking back here every few weeks to see how development was going. I cant wait for it to come out.

So hoping this gets released soon, it would so be the best X-mas gift I get (though the cash from my rents was nice), well at least until my GF gives her gifts to me.
