new user to homebrews/eboots dontknow what to do really lol

so ya i just started learning how to do all the home brewing im using a psp-1000 with a cfw GEN-A 5.50 A and im not sure if i need to get a eboot loader from what ive been reading about or just downgrade it or whatever there only one problem when im startingthe game itself it doesnt crash the psp to where i have to hold the power but it just says that the game wasnt able to play when it starts up it just goes into the sony logo and then itll stop playing pretty much so im not to sure what to do i have a pandora battery pretty much everything i need to do to be able to play homebrews eboots whatever lol
