Help Needed! PSP Slim 2001 v.3.95 OFW

Yo, i need help trying to hack this slim psp because through my net surfing of trying to hack this psp it seems to be that I need to have a slim with a fw of 3.60 or lower obviously i don't have that, and i don't want to mail my slim psp to places for people to hack them. I have all the materials such as a spare battery and a 2-4G MS for the psp and i have tried to do the perfect pandora battery by moose on QJ forum, (i have 3 hacked phat psp running from cfw of 3.80-5.00m33-6, hacked via lumines) but it did not hack the slim, i think i may have did something wrong because some of the FAQs i read stated that i need to use the MS also. i have also read about DDC but i am kind of lost how to USE it not INSTALL it. I am a mediocre kind of noob so i know half of the things im doing, as i hacked the phat and played around with the XMB and such. So can anyone give me thorough instruction of how to hack an psp slim 2001 v.3.95 along with using a jigkick battery and a memory stick? Any help is Welcomed

btw the materials i have are 3 PSP 1001 phat with CFW, 4 2G MS, 1 4G MS, 1 Spare 3.6v 1800mAh model 110 Battery(Pandorized[can convert back to a reg. btry]), PSP Slim 2001, USB Cord, and Lumines. Thank You For your time to help this hapless soul.

I am not familiar with Mooses Magic stick but i belive it uses an older version of the DDC.
Be aware that there is a Slim model that is immune to the pandora battery. (the dreaded ta88-v3 board)

Oh Thks Loonix, the guide you referred me to was rly a great help i just finish cfwing it an hour ago and it's now on a 5.00m33-6 cfw. Thks agn

And i am aware of the TA88v3 motherboard of the new psp, as my friend has ask me to hack his 3000 which i denied cuz i probably can't hack it and i think the only thing that could partially hack it to give homebrew games would be the chickHEN program, am i right

btw is there a way to play the iso games (wait is the iso game and dwnload talk banned or is anything relating to iso banned all together?) without using the umd disk? cuz my phat 1001 whenever i don't put in an umd the game can't be started and gives me the number 8oo2o321.
