Hello All!
I am currently using 3.52 M33-2 and would like to return Sony FW.  Is this possible?  Everytime I've tried I get errors.  I have read that Sony has built in a safeproof to not allow people to return to official FW's.  Anyway around this?  Any info would be a big help!!

There is a workaround for getting back to SONY official Firmware, and although I would not recommend it (CFW offers so much more) I guess that a Pandora's Battery would allow you go back to 1.50 whenever you needed.

The procedure has already been explained in THIS THREAD which should have been easy enough to find had you used the Search feature of the forums.

Basically:
  • Go back to 1.50 firmware (you can either use the recovery menu of your CFW or Pandora's Battery)
  • Update to 2.71 Sony Official Firmware
  • Install HEN-D for 2.71 Firmware
  • Run IDStorage Manager through HEN-D and return the 0x0005 to the original state.
  • Now you should be able to upgrade over 3.11 Firmware

Done.
