That is because the keyboard you have is unsupported. It has to be added to the keyboard driver list. This process is long and time consuming. Due to exams, I cannot do this at the moment. If you can PM me after the 13th, we'll work together an we'll se what we can do. On a possitive note, most IR keyboard companies basse their keyboards on existing ones. Maybe if you change the "Keyboard" value in the PSPIRKeyB.ini file, you may get a close match. Have a good day! Angelo

Hmmm I've never looked at drivers from a floppy and tried to convert them. That will be intersting! Could you please send them in a ZIP folder to: Unofficial.piKey.Support@Hotmail.co.ukI'll have a look at it and If I think I cannot do it, I will ask you to write half the driver. Honnestly, it is very very easy. It just takes long. (About 30 - 50 minutes.) Have a good day! Angelo

Yes... I'm sorry. I Kloplop321 and I were working on getting OSK fixed and I was focusing on speed enhancements to piKey too. Now that's done, I'll write up a tutorial on how to code a driver. I don't expect you to code it excatly, but to do most of the work (since you have the keyboard). I can assure you it's a very easy task, however I m,ust warn you that it is time consuming. This may take you up to an hour if you want to do it properly. I plan (after Unofficial piKey 0.5) to make a program to make it easier to code drivers, for now it'll be a tutorial. I'll post a guide onto the forums for everbody to see. Check the forums every now and then. When I find time (I have family comming round my house) I'll write a tutorial. Sorry for the wait. Angelo

You set it out correctly! But I think you may have mapped the KEY_UP instead of the KEY_DOWN. I say this because the numbers you have given me are too big. When you press a key and hold it down, it is those 3 values that you write down, not the values that are inputed after you have let go of the key. Can you please send me another file with both the KEY_UP and the KEY_DOWN? Like this: [KEY_A] C1 1E C1 // KEY_DOWN C0 9E C1 //KEY_UP
Read the tutorial again and make sure you know what KEY_UP and KEY_DOWN is and try it again. Good luck! Angelo

ich checked it again an its the right thing i send to you [KEY_A] 05 02 EE // Key down 6E 6E Â Â // Key up
[KEY_S] 05 02 ED // Key down 6D 6D Â Â // Key up
its all correct and the values are as  big as they are ichecked 3 times... Posted on: November 16, 18808, 34:52:02 PM
When do ya think are you ready or could i do the rest on my own ?

Hmm your keyboard seems very odd! I need to to do the KEY_UP and the KEY_DOWN. I need to analyse it properly. Follow my instructions in the previous post and do something of a similar layout. Angelo
