Sprint Model SPUKB0001 which looks exactly like the Snap n' Type, but with a different protocol.

The Belkin function was used as a prototype with a different keymap. Shift and Ctrl functions and most keys are confirmed working using the ir test application included with the pspirkeyb library.  However, backspace, grave, enter, del, and the arrow keys are not working, due to the basic nature of the app.

I haven't successfully installed the dev environment to compile pikey or any zx81 app with this.  Is there another application I can test this with before I release it?

Anyone else have this keyboard?

Thx,

Craig

I was able to compile pikey 0.3 with this keyboard support, which is really cool in the XMB, but I would like someone to compile it with pspost and psppda since I haven't been able to setup libsge and the codecs for zx81s make.

Here is the zip I sent Fanjita for adding to the SVN:

Here is a place selling this keyboard for 15 bucks.  Notice it looks exactly the same as the Belkin F8U1500, but different scan codes.

That's brilliant news!

I'll just attach a picture so people know what this keyboard looks like:

I do not personally own that IR keyboard, but it seems pretty nice.

In regards to the support for PSPPDA and PSPost, I suggest you contact and send the relevant information to Zx-81, so he can include it in future releases.

Thanks for this by the way.  I have visitors at home for the rest of this week, so probably won't be able to submit to SVN until Sunday evening, or maybe a bit later.  My home life has been super-busy the last few weeks.

No problem.  I manage engineers and have 2 toddlers.  The later requiring more time and skill, as I believe you are finding out!

When this gets committed to SVN, I'll ping ZX81 that there is an update....

FYI.... zx81 was kind enough to support this keyboard in the latest versions of pspirc and pspssh.  Awesome!
