okies got my pda serial keyboard connected and i'm using the sample program to test it out and this is what i'm getting:
i press a key and i get a number like 30 48 33 46 18 followed by 24 after I let go of the key, however it seems like multiple keys get the same numbers and well this is all sort of disturbing so far. not sure if it's the keyboard or some other sort of trouble. anyways Anyone know a program that will give me the complete raw data so I can see what is going on here ?

seems like you have a connection problem. do you have the wire in a coil or perhaps unshielded? serial isn't the best way to transfer information  Undecided

ehhh no coil a dunno but honestly I think that I really need a different program to sense what is going on here, might just be that the 2.5V from the sio port are not enough to drive this thing Sad
anyways until I can see the raw data without piKey's interpretation I'm stuck

Hmmm...

We didn't change anything in Unofficial piKey 0.4 when it came to SIO stuff, butyet, we didn't test it either. Try going back to it's roots:

Install 3.40 OE A then install pikey 0.3. Check if it works that way...  Wink

Worth a try isn't it? If that still fails to work, mlet us know and we can help you out. We have a few soarky people on this forum!
