Hi, thanks for your work on piKey!

I have a PSP1000, 3.90 m33-3, 1.50 kernal installed.  piKey works beautifully in the PSP menu and with the web browser, but I have PSPKVM installed so I can use the Opera Mini browser.  Is it possible to use piKey with PSPKVM and Opera, for navigation and text entry?  I am a PSP homebrew beginner, so be gentle with me, thanks for your help!

Hi!

I created a pikey pspkvm output plugin. It's not perfect but works with opera mini.

Installion:

Step 1:
copy piKeypspkvmout.prx to ms0:/SEPlugins/piKey/OutputDrivers/piKeypspkvmout.prx

Step 2:
Config your application the following input (in Menu->Select device):
NUM0:       Cross
NUM1:       Square
NUM2:       Shift+UP
NUM3:      Triangle
NUM4:       Shift+LEFT
NUM5:       Shift+Circle
NUM6:       Shift+RIGHT
NUM7:       Shift+Square
NUM8:       Shift+DOWN
NUM9:       Shift+Triangle
*:          Shift+SELECT
#:          Shift+START
CLEAR:      Shift+Cross
SELECT:      Circle
Left Soft:     SELECT
Right Soft:     START
UP:      UP
DOWN:      DOWN
LEFT:      LEFT
RIGHT:     RIGHT
(* "Shift" = holding Left Trigger or Right Trigger)

DO NOT USE ANALOG INPUT

Usage:
run pspkvm app like Opera mini, at input screen:
CTRL + F to activate   (0x06 in hexa)
CTRL + F to deactivate (0x06 in hexa)

that pikey config is OK, it uses no analog input.
Then try to enble pikey with status message mode. in the piKeyconfig.txt
STATUS MESSAGES = Y

then start pspkvm and opera, and press ctrl+F, and in the status message than will appear:
pspkvm mode ON/OFF

if not than the module is not loaded in properly.
I tested it with my ericsson t10s chatpad, and with SIO plugin as input plugin.
here is my pikey 0.5 unofficial, i tested with:
http://beni.homeip.net/~beni/psp/mypikey.zip
i hope it will work.

 Tongue
Ok ... I put the prx in the the outputdrivers...what about the stuff in the src file - where does that go?

the status message is set to yes but no dice on ctr +f turning it on...is ther some step that is not listed or some file that i am not installing?

This is so cool if i could get it to work!  There must be something real simple that i am doing wrong...have the unofficial pikey and it works fine...

sorry for being such a helpless...

Hi!

I think I found the problem.
In the ms0:/seplugins/pikey/Keymap/Targus.ini the F key is the following:

[KEY_F]
Normal = 'f';
Shift  = 'F';
CTRL = KEY_F7;

You have to modify to this:

[KEY_F]
Normal  = 'f';
Shift   = 'F';

anyway the src is only the source file of the prx module it's not need.

hm..

I think that the activation (CTRL+F) is not working with targus properly
try with this version:
http://beni.homeip.net/~b...ni/psp/piKeypspkvmout.prx

the activation key is CTRL+D so disable the piKeyDanzeffOut.prx and give it a try

It must be my pikey...i used the unofficial .5 version and i just realized that my danzeff plugin also doesn't work...so maybe i need to get like an earlier version of pikey or something...maybe i got a corrupted download of pikey...i will try a few things...you rock for doing this...here is the funny thing..when pspkvm boots up it shows that pikey is active....it also won't work on isos or umd games...it has to be the pikey i got.
