piKey 0.5 with osk in 5.00 m33-6?

Hi, I've just upgraded my PSP1000 to 5.00 m33-6, and have piKey 0.5 working.  It works perfectly in the PSP menus and in the Sony Web Browser using the osk (super work, thanks!).  However, using the Sony OSK in other apps doesn't seem to work, such as Opera Mini (via PSPKVM) and in Ultimate PSPTube 1.8.  When I press keys, I get garbage results - sometimes spaces, sometimes random letters, sometimes random symbols.  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks for your help!

Press select untill the icon in the bottom right hand corner is a "a".

It may be set to "URL" or the apostriphied "a".

i got just the same problem, just send you an email angelo.
But my problem is I can't type at all when using OSK in homebrew, i tried all possibilities pressing select, but even with a no success.
