My next problem, that I want to solve is that pikey 0.4 sample doesn't work on my PSP with CFW 3.90M33-3 and Kernel 1.50v2. After some conversation with Angelo, pikey 0.4(5) works fine in XBM, OSK and Homebrews like PSPWrite and AFKIM ... but the pikey sample (0.3 and 0.4) still doesn't work well. The application starts, show the message 'pikey running' but then only a black screen. No reaction on any key ... only ESC works and finish the program. Any idea what is the mistake? Any workaround for me? I want to build a own keymap file for my Targus keyboard. There are special keys that I want to use. Now I need a tool like pikey sample, that shows the codes from every key that i press on keyboard. Regards, Dirk

The piKey Sample in 0.4 will NEVER work.

The code used to make it too old.

I do have a fixed version and it works great... but I really cannot see why you'd want to change the keymap...

What are you trying to do? All the keymaps (ESPECIALLY Targus) have been mapped perfectly.

If you're thinking of adding German support, editing the keymap won't do anything.

E-Mail me with your ideas and I'll see if I can help you out... Smiley

Maybe you could... test... a few things for us...  Grin

Hi Angelo,

no I don't want to try it with German language support. I think the Targus.ini is not 100% ok ... one sample ... the "Confirm" Key doesn't work correct ... in OSK is a '.' and in XMB doens't have any effect. I want the confirm button in the same funktion like 'Enter' but I didn't know the right name or code for this key. Could I get your sample version that works fine? If there any Stuff to test .. please let me know ...
I will check it for you on my environment.

Regards, Dirk

Ah... do this:

Inside Unofficial piKey 0.4, there is something called the "Unofficial piKey Targus Expansion Pack".

Read that and follow it's instructions.

It was all mapped by myself and I really think that it's the best layout...

However if you still want to make adjustments to my work yo can always email me and I'll be happy to give you a hand!

(I would rather not talk about new piKey stuff on the forums... people start bugging me with PRX files!)

Have a good day!

Sorry Dirk,

I've been busy lately...

I'm just preparing it for you right now... it's been acting strange and I need to recode it...

By the way... it's better to not post on he forums about emails. Wink

Sorry I can't add anything constructive but I was wanting to check that PiKey will work with 3.90 m33 w/ the 1.50 Kernel Add-on and a Targus Universal IR Keyboard and where am I supposed to purchase one? I see several sites that have it but they seem a bit ... shady?

They've stopped production!

Amazon and eBay are your best choices! I also recomend the ones that already work with piKey:

Quote
-  Compaq / HP Foldable IR Keyboard
-  Snap'n'Type IR Keyboard
-  HP Slim IR Keyboard
-  Belkin IR Keyboard (not IrDA)
-  Flexis FX-100 IR Keyboardeyboard
-  Benq G250 IR Gamepad
-  Micro Innovations Foldaway IR Keyboard
-  Micro Innovations IR Datapad
-  Compaq IR Micro Keyboard
-  Targus Universal IR Wireless Keyboard
-  Freedom IR Keyboard
-  NOVAETS - KIS2 - IR Keyboard
-  Palm Universal Wireless IR Keyboard
-  Hama Palm IR Keyboard
-  Sprint PDA Keyboard

Good luck!
