mapping of Targus keyboard

!!WickeD!!!
so I have piKey installed now, works lovely
BUT
why does when I press ; and : it comes out with ( or )
do I have the Targus mapped correctly ?
it's a bit annoying when trying to type web addresses in
Posted on: December 27, 2007, 07:52:04 AM
okay, it turns out this is only in the internet mode
which is a pain
: = (
; = )
" = @
@ = ?
! = ,
, = :
< = 1
> = .
1 = @
2 = .at
3 = .dk/
4 = index.html
5 = .kg
6 = .ms
7 = .pt/
8 = .tw/
9 = y
+ = $
\ = #
[ = :
] = ,
{ = !
} = ?
| = %
you could see how this might be frustrating when using the net

Haha...
My friend, read the "Unofficial piKey 0.4" manual! I spent hours on it!
When typing a URL, you need to press the "select" key to get the correct character map.
However, this is the only occasion when this happends. If you were to type something in the "Google" text box, it'll be fine. It's just URL.
Please please please people, read the documents that came with the pack. I didn't spend hours writing them for my health!
You may also like to see the "
Automatic Select Button Presser:
" in
piKeyConfig.txt
.
Have fun! Glad you got your PSP unbricked!

oops
I read parts of the manual looking for other stuff, I guess I wasn't concentrating, too excited about bringing my poospe (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmyU7T1Rc1s
) back from the dead.
Thanks Angelo, I am so so glad. I was ready to send it to you, or blow myself up, but the solution came at the right time.
I'm really glad that all I have to do is press select, it works (of course). This is AWESOME!
Just what I've been looking forward to.

Someimes the Targus gives off random symbols. make sure the IR arm is in line and restart your PSP.

cool cheers.. I'll have a mess about but I've contacted Targus for a replacement under Warranty just in case
Here's hoping
Posted on: January 16, 2008, 05:52:47 PM
No it's definitely broken, just those keys don't work, everything else does.. very very nicely (well done guys).
I'll be able to get a replacement from Targus as there has definitely been no physical damage to the device.
I'm not sure the keys ever worked since I brought it in December as I haven't used it enough
