Ya know how there is a motion kit for the psp? It plugs into the mic port...Well couldnt you make the same thing only for IR capabillities? Sure you may not have sound but i could sacrafice that for Pikey support. That would mean IR shell on Slim, Universal Remote, and PIKEY!!!!

But (Pikey) have the software support..........

Let me rephrase guys...

SIO is that mic port like you said. It's all possible and the PRX plugin still exists -piKeySIO.PRX.

It all works great, it's just an M33 issue. After Dark_AleX adds it to the resolver it should work.

Also, I noticed on PS2Dev forums another guy working on it, so hopefully it should be up and running soon, but please...
