I need a bit of help, gentlemen. Well, at the moment, Im running 3.90m33-2 cfw with the 1.50 kernal. I read the instructions that come along with the download for 0.4 pikey, and Im having a rough go of things. I save the right MS_ROOT to the root screen of my psp and it still doesnt appear in my Game section in the XMB, like no "Unofficial piKey 0.4 Installer" option. Can anyone help me? Id realy like to get this thing off the ground, but im having trouble lol

have you tried putting the pikey installer folders manually into the game or game150 folder of your psp? and running it in the XMB that way? I got unoffical pikey 0.4 to work with 3.80 m33 but there was quite a few settings and run arounds i needed to memorize. You may wanna check the thread that says "afkim problems" it might aid you. I suggest running in 1.50 kernel. Send Me and IM if you need to and ill do my best to aid you. I just upgraded my firmware to the same one you are using and its working fine.

What's going on here?

Ah I see...

Sandman, if you can tell uncle Angelo here what keyboard you have, I will personally set it all up for you ready for use. Then all you gotta do is copy and paste it over to your PSP!   Cheesy

I appracite the help, rynakian, as I took a gander at your thread about running multiple IR apps at once, very interesting. Sadly, it wasnt much help to my parcicular situation. Hoppin that Angelo might be a pretty good sorce of help. Cool

Seems like my delima is this. Im running the 1.50 kernal and have it set to that version in the recovery mode. It realy doesnt go into detail on where to place the right MS_ROOT, so i have tried most possiblitys. IE, the main usb mode screen, MP ROOT, PSP, GAME, GAME150 aswell as GAME380. They keep apearing to show up as corupt. Ive tried downloading from a few site, but I get the same deal. Im dern lost XD

Have you tried opening up Pre_-_Release_-_Pikey Unofficial 4.zip then going in to the Pre - Release - Unofficial piKey 0.4 folder -->PSP Kernel 3.52 Or Below -->MS_ROOT -->PSP-->GAME150 folder then copying the piKey_0.4_Installer and piKey_Sample

Into your PSP Directory at PSP--->GAME150 folder on your PSP?

I was able to run the installer in the 3.90 kernel from the memorystick. I pushed O when it asked if I wanted to install the thing for kernel 3.40 and below

Turned off my psp, then turned it back on and went to recovery mode and only enabled piKey.PRX [VSH]

My keyboard worked fine in XMB make sure infrared bar is pointed towards infrared sensor on the psp. Works in 1.50 and 3.90 kernel in XMB

Dude,  angelo, your freakin epic man.  At  the moment, im making this reply thru my psp. I dont think i could have done it with out  your little email man. I realy do apprecate  it dude,  the help along with the little "extras" you threw in along with the installer, lol. That pesky litle updater can get pretty annoying after awhile, eh? Well, thanks again man let me know  if  theres anything i can do to repay the favor.  Later days... Cool
