Chainpus SK6688 is compatible too (see here http://c.brunner.free.fr/wordpress/?p=19) same aspect as Hama Infrared Smart Keyboard (36990).

It will be included too in Pikey 0.4. It is a nice keyboard, it has 2 infrared, allowing you to input even having PSP and keyboard on your knees Wink

Check here for modified PSPDA, PSPSSH, PSPWRITE and AFKIM (doens't work yet) for Chainpus SK6688 : http://c.brunner.free.fr/psp/chainpus/

Nice but...

Who ever said this will be implamented in Unofficial pikey 0.4?  Undecided

At the moment it's a bit difficault to add those IR drivers to the PSPIRKeyB lib and compile it all with piKey. However it eventually will be added!  Wink

However, it's something we will deffinatly be done in the future. Once piKey has all the firmwares supported, we can start working on bugs and fixes.  Wink

Thanks for writing the driver, I know how stressful it is!

When we're ready, we'll send you the PSPIRKeyB lib so you can add the drivers, and we'll compile it all.

Thanks

what you could do(this is just an idea)
is just listen for the codes, and press a certain key for the individual keyboard(defined in the readme(which is supposed to be read)), and you could use the key code to define which keyboard driver to use, unfortunatly, it may cause some problems.
or you could justy have a config file in seplugins that it reads whenever it boots up and it will use that identify the keyboard.

just a question, is piKey installing on flash0 or is it running in seplugins?

That's what piKey is aout my friend!  Cheesy

There is a config file that allows you to select a driver. Adding them to the code is a lot more harder time consuming!

Thanks anyway!

the Hama Keyboard is a clone of the Chainpus SK 6688. It has the same keys and the same functions.  Wink

So theoretcly, the Chainpus SK6688 works already?

Can you please try it out? Just set the IR keyboard type in the "PSPIRKeyB.ini" to 21 and the keymap to "Hama".

Please report back!  Grin

Just at the moment, we're not quite ready for adding extra drivers.  Undecided

Hey, Florian, can you try and see if it works with piKey by setting it to the "Hama (21)" driver and the keymap we worked on too?

The CTRLMap / Keymap can always be adjusted! Wink

It works with the Hama driver Wink

The funny thing is that the chainpus is not so expensive than the Hama keyboard. Cheesy

I would send you a image, but you can't find any difference(ok, the logo of the "distributor" is different chainpus-hama)

Anything differant odd?

If so, I'll add it to Unofficial piKey 0.4 now. Just add a line in PSPIRKeyB.ini and the docs! Grin

I kinda like just hearing the ticking noise lol. but serioously, this is REALLY cool Cheesy I do have a suggestion though, you know the 4 buttonss on the side? well why not make it so that you can set like a "quick" word or phrase that it could type, shuoldnn''t be too hard Smiley

Sorry, I've already tried it!

I guess it could be done after hours of coding, but I don't see any point.  Undecided

I don't see what would be so hard with just emulating a few private/public subs in order according to the scancode
