I had a thought the other night while re-wiring a 2x16 serial lcd for my computer.

Would it be possible to use the PSP as a display for programs like LCDsmartie http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net/.

With a homebrew program would it not be possible to monitor the USB for signals from the LCD program and then display it on the screen.

Other places I have posted this idea seem to think Wifi would be the easier route to go but with the way the PSP eats the battery with Wireless activated I think usb would be allot better.

Just looking to find out if this is even possible.

Thanks

Hmmm... not sure. I know PSP to PC/TV has been done, but not the other way around. Also, maybe USB isn't an option, instead, consider SIO serial. Wink

If you want more info log onto PS2Dev forums / PSP Development and try a post there or on PSP hacks. This forums is mainly for downgrading. Smiley
