I just recently upgraded a PSP to CW 5.00 M33-4. My PSP was Japanese and had the default Japanese button configuration of O being accept/OK and X being decline/back. With the upgrade to CW this has been switched to the western default of the opposite configuration. I'm hoping that there is a quick fix to this as it's quite a pain to navigate through the XMB and games with the buttons being the opposite. Does anyone know of anyway to do this?
Thanks in advance for any advice or help.

It's better to regret something that you have done than to regret something that you haven't.
Will downgrade/CW upgrade in Japan.

switch your psp compelely off
then while booting it hold the right shoulder key
you should boot into the recovery menu
Go to 'Registry hacks'
and toggle the option 'Button assign'

now you should be back to normal Smiley

Nowadays people are much to preoccupied with this and that to bother with feedback. I never forget to thank the person that helps me. Best of luck with a speedy recover from whatever is ailing you.
I too am a little under the weather due to the first of 2 wisdom teeth extractions.
