SNES Emulator....Bad??

I've been trying to get a SNES emulator to work on my PSP Slim (SNES9X to be precise) then I hear that they are illegal?

should I continue to try....or stop now?

(considering I have 4.05 and can't downgarde anyway)

The SNES emulator is not illegal, however the trading of ROMs via the Internet is a grey area, at best, in terms of legality. The generally accepted standard is that commercial ROMs are not illegal if you own the original cartridge and you create the ROM YOURSELF. However, this is a fairly complicated process. Downloading a copy of any commercial ROM, whether you own the original cartridge or not, is likely illegal.  There certainly is no "24 hour trial" rule written in the law.  That is a myth.

But the emulator will not work on your PSP as you have official 4.05 firmware

Yes downgrade your PSP and install Custom Firmware using a pandoras battery and magic memory stick

I've been working on that...but so far I've had no luck...I'll keep trying tho cuz I consider myself a true gamer...and playing snes on a psp is like one of the coolest things ive ever heard of

Install 5.00 M33-3 first. Get that done and then we can help you with your emulator.
