Pandora's Battery Hard Mod Question from a Noob.

I'm very new to this site, so please forgive me for asking what I know is going to be a very noobish question, I promise.
I am trying to downgrade my psp from software version 3.73 to 1.50 and the best idea I've had so far is to use a pandora's battery, and I am a DTY type of guy. I just took two different batteries apart, ruined one (oh well), and they both are different types, but neither look like the one I've seen a hard mod done to. So here's my question;
If this is the best way to downgrade my psp to 1.50, are there different types of batteries, or someone out there that can tell me what type of battery I have and what I need to do to it to make it into a pandora's battery?

You need a pandora's battery and a memory stick with firmware files on it.
I suggest you check out the "Downgrader" section of the forums!
Good luck!
