Need Help with UMD?

Yo, can anyone help me to tell me how i can play iso/cso games without using the umd because i heard that if your playing your game while the umd is running it will use up your battery more faster. so if anyone can help can you tell me a program that will change this? thx

ISO/CSO talk is banned here. But if you look in the recovery menu (power right down, power up with right trigger pressed) you may find something there.
