I was going to hard mod my psp battery, but changed my mind.....When I had part of the battery open...Its only the edge of it, probably only 20% of it is cut open....Is it fine if I use it as a normal battery, just put some tape on the edge partially cut open? I have been using it for a while and it seems to be doing fine.

where did you get the idea to open it up? I would prolly just avoid harming it, you can probably take some cheap plastic, warm it up with a lighter and smear it on the cut and let it cool, just be carefull

hey buddy, 1 of my mates told me about 1 of his friends had cut a pin on his battery to make it a pandoras battery, and it still works, so it is posible, and i had seen a guide on the net somewhere about it, but yeah, i myself would stick away from messing with it, even tho i like to take things apart lol, but yeah to stick it back together tape should work fine

Loonix my friend, my PSP flys!... and it's touchy too You get that from the 4.20 GHD firmware. Yup, the company that makes hair straighteners make CFW too!

Yes I'd admit this in this thread that I was not as usefull as I should have been and I can understand your frustration. If it helps, I recommend you get a Datel battery to ensure that it's properly "Jig Kicked" and not pandora proof. Good luck and applogies. Angelo

I hard mod'd my PSP battery when I had no other choice because I had irreversibly bricked my psp, I was very careful and used a safety pin to remove one pin inside the battery to turn it into a Pandora. It worked but made the battery useless for anything else, unless the psp was plugged in and switched on then the battery put in, which worked... I had a chinese 3600mAh battery for a while which was flipping useless, held about 20 mins charge, cheap piece of rubbish.
I recently bought a genuine Sony phat battery for £5 from eBay so is all good. I had no choice but to hard mod the battery, as I was poor. Really glad it worked.

So will my battery really turn into a pandora if I smash it against a wall?
