 I changed my psp key tone 3 nights ago and the thing is if I put the psp down and leave it for a second it freezes i.e. crashes it starts back up with no problem can u think why this might be happening. If I put the original (key tone) back in I have no problems it’s just when the customs sounds are in. thanks a lot

If you are really really into PSP customisation, the ideal firmware for you is 3.03 OE - C if you REALLy want to go to town as it has the most flash0 space or 3.52 M33 - 4 if you wish to stay up to date. Don't worry about games, even 3.03 OE - C can still play the latest games! I tried it!  

It may be a security thing from Sony. Did you try all the sounds?

Email is for personal stuff and really off topic stuff the forums would want on them. Just downgrade back to 1.50 and install 3.52 M33 - 4.

You can muck around with quite a few things without bricking there. Like I said in the email, speak to the guy I told you, he knows a lot!  

You will find help on changing your firmware to 3.52 M33 - 4 on this forum... somewhere.

Custom sounds. The key tone sounds. If your new to the scene and you weren't around when 3.03 OE - C was out, you may not understand.

They even have custom themes (PTF files) that'll work on official PSP's with 3.71+  

Once Unofficial piKey 0.4 get's 3.71 + support, the first thing I'm gonna do it download themes and the latest iRShell!
