gPsp Kai. is there a tutorial on how to install and use this?

Eloader or Time Machine allows you to install 1.50 on a psp slim, and Gpsp Kai requires 1.50??

Amazing what a little searching can do! This doesn't require eLoader. Just simply a PSP with M33, a memory card and a little common sense!

The PSP has no 1.50 kernel, nor will it ever have one.

You need to specificly get a GBA emulator for the PSP Slim.

Sorry, I can't think of one off the top of my head

Extract the two gpsp folders into PSP/GAME, set kernel to 1.50 and you should be okay to go.

An alternative option to eLoader would be Time Machine from D_A to run 1.50 Firmware (with some modules from 3.40).

Let us know if you get it going!

If all i need is a PSP with M33 and a memory card (which i have), then why are you guys saying the stuff above about eloader timemachine and 1.50 kernel?

Hmm i see. wat is the difference between the gpsp kai link you linked to (gpSP Kai v3.2 test 05), and this one (Unofficial gpSP Kai v3.2 Test 8.5) in the "ultimate how to guide"??
will they both work with psp slim?

Yes they will. It's best to use he most recent one.

well i got that version angelo. i read the readme.txt and it was as big as a book, i finnaly got to the section where it says "how do i run gpsp on my psp?" and it said this..

Provided is an EBOOT.PBP which will run as is on a 1.0 firmware
   PSP or custom firmware that can run unsigned EBOOTs. On 1.5 firmwares
   you must use a kxploit tool to run it (try SeiPSPtool). On 2.0
   firmwares and higher further exploits must be used - see
   http://pspupdates.qj.net/ for more information. Note that I have NOT
   tested this emulator on any firmware version besides 1.5, and it's
   very possible that it doesn't run well, or at all on higher versions.
   Therefore I strongly recommend you downgrade if possible, and use
   Devhook to run games that require > 1.5 version firmwares.

   Be sure to include in the same directory as the EBOOT.PBP file the
   game_config.txt file included and the gba_bios.bin file which you
   must provide yourself.

   gpSP does not run on PSPs with version 2.71 or higher firmware yet,
   nor does any other homebrew executable.

hmmm so i guess i cant run this since i hayve the latest custom firmware.

it has all these emulators with these versions...

gpSP 0.9
NesterJ 1.20 beta2
Snes9x TYL 0.4.2 ME
DGEN 1.70

Now are these very old versions of these emulators?

so i tried eloader and so far it only works with gpsp. the snes genesis and nintendo emulator do not work with it. any alternatives??
Posted on: June 02, 2008, 06:00:27 AMwow finally. sorry for all the dumb questions. i just wasnt realizing that different emulators are needed if you have a slim. i went to pspslimhacks.com and i got all the emulators and they all are working fine now. sorry for the frustration people.
