Probably not...

On topic... the PS3 sometimes blocks options such as the web browser if you do not update your firmware.

It shouldn't bee too hard for game developing companies to check to see if a game uses CFW and block itself. No?

Just a thought...

it definitely will not effect you CFW. play it regular

The latest patch is V1.5 now anyway

June 2008: New 1.5 patch is released for FTB2 - among the features are many fixes of problems that plagued the 1.4 patch (in ex. the ability to talk when dead and re-inclusion of white dots on the radar for fallen teammates) and a Anti-Cheat feature. .

I wonder if unofficial hacks by the scene can be made to add stuff to games.

Lara Croft Nude Patch maybe?  Roll Eyes

Haha!  Cheesy

I "risked" it anyway before I got the first reply. I was leary because it seemed to be similar to updating the firmware. I could not find any info on the net so I figured it was prob safe. Seems to work great. Now if I could only stop sucking at it!!

Ha!

It's avaliable for PC games as the files can be easily edited. To do that to a PSP game it requires dumping it as an ISO, extracting it, edit the files, and compile it back into an ISO.

It's perfectly possible, but you need to be a good game dev.
