fastloader 3.40oe problem

Hi all,
I have installed v3.40oe firmware and I would like to copy (backup) a game (legitimately owned) to my memory stick. Some people seem to be using fastloader 0.7 to dump the umd to the memory stick.

When I install fastloader, I just get corrupted icons displayed, and no icon for fastloader.

Is there a fix to this problem, or should I use another application? Which one?
