Well i can only gossip about CFW on the psp 3000
According to my belives it went like this:
HellDashX (aka Miriam) realy found an exploit but could not handle it
she got D_A's trust who pointed her in the right directions
(he knew it because it was 'his' well guarded exploit)
He asked Miriam to keep it a secret and she developed a HEN CFW for the 3000 PSP.
This Proof of concept she gave to a friend (webmaster of PSP GEN) who released a video of it...

I belive D_A panicked when he saw the video and did a all-round-bash.
Well. Miriam stood true to the word not to release the inner workings of the exploit.

It is a full fledged Scene drama and i belive no one has the full truth...
(I am sorry if I give wrong/incorrect/uninformed information i just tried to make my own picture of the recent events)

So. unless another Kernel mode exploit can be found there will be no CFW on 3000 PSP's
a HEN can be expected in the next few (month?) but it might not have some features we are used to from other HEN versions
(afaik there was for example no sound possible with the first released SDK)

It might even be that other methods will be discovered (other buffer under/over run, Tiff exploit, decyphered IPL's so something like Pandora will work again...)

In any case Team Noobz is back at the development that is not only Fanjita but many great names from the scene
all focused to one great idea!

P.s. I dont belive anyone likes to be called a b*tch so I edit the topic name and... wellcome back.

Thx for the info Loonix. I read some topics about it, but they all seem to add or miss something. Well, in the end, there r always greedy ppl. Respect and trust should always be present.

Forget the PSP scene, Denkai is back from his duty serving his country!

I'm happy to hear that you are alive and well mate!  Cheesy

Back on topic...

Basilcy, the team are now just inches away from a PSP 3000 hack... with a lot of childish squabaling.

In brief, once they find out what the IPL of the PSP 3000 is, they can then add it to the latest DC and create a Pandora firmware flasher.

I think the scene isn't as alive as what it used to be, so the major devs are getting bored. I got a bit bored of pikey to be honnest, so I took a months break from it. Smiley

So yeah... welcome back mate. Email me with some stories if you feel like it! Haha.  Cheesy

basically. the persian golf is Hot. and with engine exhaust around you, it is even hotter. and sandy. I didn't know it but sand storms get so bad there it actually affects us out at sea. lol other then that, a sister ship of ours lost someone (they stood up as a jet was taking off, he lost his head) but we didn't lose anyone. I go back out for two weeks next weekend, but afterwords I'll be getting a 15mbps cable ICP. and I've got a PS3, and an apartment all my own, and of course I'm still pimping the fat psp. Smiley I gotta get all my stuff upto date though. It'll happen after I get net.

Goodness, sounds like my home country Cyprus, hot as anything and sandy too! I'm glad to here that you're ok, but hearing about a death of another person in such a gruesome way isn't easy for me to read. May he rest in peace.  Cry

On a brighter note, great news on your new setup! Over here in the UK we have the slowest internet around! I get 2mbps and it costs a fortune! I could upgrade to 4mbps, but I'm not much of a downloader. Smiley
