if i leave the 1.5 firaware file in the pandora MS will it have that option to downgrade in the menue?

What menu are you talking about? Pandora's Menu? XMB's Menu?

Please provide more and detailed information when asking questions or otherwise you'll probably not get any answers cause nobody will understand what you meant to ask.

A magic memory Stick with "El Despertar del Cementerio" v3 from Dark_Alex will install Custom Firmware 3.71 M33-2. You cannot change the 371.PBP file by a 1.50 EBOOT.PBP update file and expect Pandora's Battery to install 1.50 Firmware instead  Huh.

However a "regular" magic memory stick created with the initial release of Pandora's Battery by the Team C+D (This is sctually the one from this guide) will install 1.50 Official Firmware. Remember that 1.50 Firmware can ONLY be installed in a Classic PSP (Slim PSP is not compatible with it).

Yes, please do NOT install 1.50 on a Slim PSP!
You will Brick your PSP!

and if you modifyed your Pandora-Memorystick to install it you wont be able to recover with it.
(if you dont know what you did exactly and can reverse it)

dont worry i was just wondering.
but i am trying Ad Hoc mode with a friend both with CFW and cant seem to find each other. i think it could be because of me using the EU version and him the US...

Is it safe to update the online (infrastructure) portion of the game?

its most likely the different game versions. i guess sony doesnt want us the world to play with eachother. could be for server reasons but you should be able to decide.

But is it safe to update the online (infrastructure) portion of the game (it asks you automatically)?

sanjay i dont think this is about folders ^^

i never had a game that needs online updates so i again realy cant help you daveyostrow.
I belive they could block you permanent if they detect a pirated version (but i dont think thats done at the moment)

My psp is registered with sony so should they ever bother to check for these versions
and if i where that stupid to use one online they could knock right on my door ^^
(i am shure when connecting to the game server the psp transmits its serial, your profile name and the game serial/version.)
