A little help please.

I just have 2 simple questions that anybody could answer for me and I will be thankful if they can.
A little info first, I am currently running a fairly new 2.81 (upgraded from 2.71) TA-082 PSP system and I've been away from the home brew communities for almost a year now.
My first question is regarding the the upgrading to official psp firmware 3.50 to use the current downgrader, the Lumines Exploit since I do not trust the GTA exploit, call it intuition, cowardice or bad experiences with it.
1. Is it possible for someone to post a list of games that offer the 3.50 or the 3.03 firmware?
A.If not, could someone provide a link to the firmware?( The sony psp site now offers 3.51, and the underground has the same.)
2. Any suggestions or advice (before) I start the downgrade? I don't want to have to purchase another PSP. The first one, funny story, died with honor, being used as a bludgeon against a person who tried to mug me for it.Not smart in my honest opinion. Anyway, any suggestions?
Thanks in advance, if I'm not able to reply instantly.

The downgrader_HOWTO.txt file in the downgrader package contains a link to a suitable v3.50 firmware download.
As for advice - read the documentation carefully, back up any Lumines savegame you might have, and maybe check out the many online videos and step-by-step picture guides if you still feel nervous.
