I note on Dark Alex's blog that 4.00 M33 may be out this week, will it be worth upgrading, whats your thoughts.

The new features of being able to change video playback speed and a google search facility are hardly getting me excited.

4.00 = new kernal.

Makes me anxious.

I remember when 2.XX, 3.XX came out, developers had to completly change their applications so they work!

I just hope the dev scene isn't a nightmare and that piKey still works!

Yeah, everything I have is working great on 3.90m33-3 with 1.50 kernel addon, I note that there probably won't  be a 1.50 add-on for 4.00M33.  I do like the idea of M33 extra feature of save states though that will come in real handy.

4.01 M33 was released hours ago, however dark_alex´s server has been down since just after the release (Too many connections I guess  ""X))

The CFW is available from pspupdates.qj.com though for those who do not want to wait for the server to be back up.

Surprisingly, and against all expectations, the bundled readme.txt file states the 1.50 addon for 4.01 M33 would be released by the end of the day/night.

Make yourself a BIG favour: Read the damm README.TXT files and make use of the SEARCH function of this Forum.

Wow... who would have thunk it!

I guess the source code for the 1.50 addon kernel only changes slightly for each update. I doubt it's serious coding for Dark_AleX!  Cheesy

So anyone ever find out if it was worth updating? I'm pretty content with 3.90m33!

I updated my second fat PSP last night with the network update, was hoping the save state option was there but I don't think that function is available yet. Will be keeping my main other PSP at 3.90M33-3 as every is working fine on it and I can't see the likes of irshell working on 4.01M33 yet (maybe it does, does anyone know)
