I just upgraded following the instructions above from 1.5. The #4 upgrade says to install in GAME150 folder. I dont have that. I have just GAME folder.(which i the file I previously put everything into). Should I create a GAME150 folder or just put the M33Update4 folder into my GAME folder?
UPDATE: Tried it in GAME, then made a GAME150 folder. Keep getting message "The game could not be started (80020148). Read past messages and have tried search function. PSP Says i'm at 3.52 M33. Is that the Kernal? if not, how do I make sure its set to 3.52. The only things I've done to this PSP is downgrade it to 1.5 and upgrade for a fat as instructed above.
Download straight from Dark-Alex and that worked

Hi. I've been at Firmware 1.5 ever since the Lumines downgrade and now I want to upgrade so I can play some of the latest games, but also still use homebrew. I followed your instructions exactly, but when I tried to put the v1.50 and v3.52 official firware updates into my :/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/ folder, it said there wasn't enough space. This is because I only have the 32MB memory stick that came with my PSP when I bought it. I'm gonna need to buy a bigger memory stick anyway, so I was wondering: If I buy an official SONY 4GB memory stick, will I still be able to upgrade? I'm only asking this because you recommended using the 32MB/1GB memory stick that came with the PSP. I'm being really careful; I don't want to make a mistake and brick my PSP. Thanks for all your help. ^_^

Ooops, yes you're right.
That's my mistake. Obviously a 32MB memory Stick will not be able to hold both updates at the same time.
If you're planning to buy a bigger memory stick just make sure you get a legit one (There are too many SONY counterfeits. I recommend SandDisk instead. Try to avoid Lexar.). Any size should do, as long as it's bigger than 64MB, so you can copy all the required files.
Good luck!

Lol. Well, I just purchased a well priced SONY 4GB memory stick from amazon.com. Here's the link:
http://www.amazon.com/Son...ics&qid=1208173483&sr=8-1
I mean, amazon.com wouldn't sell something if it wasn't legit, right? As I said before, I'm being really careful. Even though you suggested other brands, if I get one that is legitimately made by SONY and brand new, then it should work, right? Thanx again. ^_^

Now that 8GB are comming in, 4GB are getting cheaper! I found a genuine one for about £35, which isnt bad!

OK you have 4 options:
1.
DO NOT UPDATE YOUR PSP.
This option is not optional!
2. Use the GTA 3.03 downgrade.
3. Use the Lumines 3.50 downgrade.
4. Use Pandora's battery.
Unless you know somebody with a PSP with CFW, I recommend you choose option 2 or 3. (Cheaper alternatives and less hassle!)
Infact I have a spare Lumines game. You can borrow mine if you want. You'd have to pay for P+P, the rest if free. I'm happy to take a detour to my local post office on my way to school?
If you choose option 3, let me know via email. (Use the forum email) and we'll see if we can arrange anything!
Good luck!

hi I am new to this, and I would like some advice if possible. I have two psp's ( fat ) one is running cfw 3.71 M33 and the other is ofw 3.03, this one won't accept any further upgrades as when I bought it, it was at 1.50 and I inadvertently upgraded via official firmware. would I be able to downgrade it by useing the cfw files on the other psp, or will I end up with it bricked?
any help or advice greatly appreciated

You can use your Fat PSP on 3.71M33 firmware to create a Pandora´s Kit (Battery and memory stick), and then use that kit on the other PSP to upgrade it (or downgrade it if you like) to the highest OFW or CFW.
Check the stickies in our forums on how to create Pandora´s batteries and sticks.

I have a question on this please.
I am running a Phat 5.00 M33-4 that used the Chicken install. Do I currently have a CFW and can skip the first steps? I am confused on what to do next to get my system up to running 5.50 Gen-B. Any help much appreciated!
