Hi there, hopefully someone can help me...

Last night I decided to dig out my fat PSP with 3.71 OFW and look into homebrew. I decided to go for a hardmod on the battery and that all went without a hitch. I created pandoras battery and managed to install 3.71 m33 successfully by running v4 unbricker. GREAT.

However, I decided I wanted to change and upgrade to something else. So i formatted the memory stick and tried another package without success. Beaten, I went back to the 3.71 m33 using the same package as before but this time it didn't work. When I inserted the battery, the green power light came on but it did not access the memory stick and brick up options like it had done before. I have since tried as many things as possible I can find including auto downgraders etc and all I have achieved is 2.80 OFW. I tried HEN 2.80 but it would not reboot the system, merely turned it off, so I could not run the test apps.

What I have now is a PSP that will not boot unless I take the battery out, and a lot of wasted time.

Please advise me on what I have done wrong and what can be done to rectify it. It's driving me bonkers. I am not a noob, so this is very frustrating.

thanks in advance

So you have hardmodded your only battery?
Also you did not make a Backup of your original NAND?
That is not so good Wink

I belive you have first used a Memorystick with a different from the original IPL.
(probably Boosters multi IPL which allows to load the PSP normal with a pandora battery inserted and would boot different menus when you press certain butons on boot time...)
Now after you have formated your memorystick the IPL on the stick got lost...
Try to format your stick with FakeCard 1.5 and re-install your modified multi IPL.

Also you can try to fix your Battery so that you can from now on soft mod it...

Esle you probably will need to start the PSP only with the AC adapter and then pop in your crippled battery Sad
