That confirms that IDStorage keys are not touched by the CFW 3.51 M33 #7 Patch.

The process of installing a new firmware (What you did when you went from 3.51 M33 back to 1.50) never touches or modifies in any way the IDStorage Keys.

Therefore if the Patch #7 modified any of the IDStorage Keys, that change/modification should have remained after reverting the PSP back to 1.50.

Since this clearly did not happen (Brightness issue re-appeared) the common sense says that the brightness fix is something that's been impremented through a software patch in the CFW, therefore is only effective while the CFW 3.51 (and Patch #7 has been applied) is on the PSP.

The brightness problem is caused by 5 files

pspbtcnf_update.txt
pspbtcnf_game.txt
lcdc.prx
display.prx
and ge.prx

those files are in flash 0,KD folder

these files below will fix the problem for 3.40 oe-a and under

and of course 3.51 but in 3.51-7 it gets fixed so

This is probably what the M33 did to fix the brightness in their latest m33 cfw, however as you can see, it only fixes the isses at the OS level (because it's in flash 0 or 1 folder), thus not the fix is not permenant on the hardware itself, in fact there's no change.
