Please tell me which tutorial to follow

Hello.
Fairly new here.
I have determined that my psp 2001 is hackable.
It currently has fw ver 3.71 on it and functions properly as expected.
I just purchased a pandora battery online and should have it in 2 weeks.
I'm not sure of all of the terminologies.
Should I downgrade the fw to 1.5 using the pandora battery and a magic memory stick?
or upgrade it to m33?

I'm not sure which route to take.
