Experience: I have been following the PSP scene for over 2 years now and I have tested most of the downgraders so far. Downgraded many PSPs owned by close friends without a single brick by using the very early downgraders and also the latest ones based on Lumines and GTA:LCS. I also like to keep a spare battery/memory stick set in the form of a Pandora´s Battery for a quick and efficient way to downgrade/unbrick PSPs.

Services Offered:

• Downgrade of PSP-100* (AKA Old / Fat PSP) [ANY FIRMWARE down to 1.50]
• Custom Firmware install in PSP-100* (AKA Old / Fat PSP) [ANY CUSTOM FIRMWARE up to 3.90 M33-3]
• Unbricking of PSP-100* (AKA Old / Fat PSP) [As long as the brick was a result of a flash corruption, not of a hardware failure]
• Custom Firmware install in PSP-200* (AKA Slim PSP) [ANY FIRMWARE to 3.71 M33]

Fee: At least the postage costs for the return of the PSP or memory stick/battery set (including packaging materials) plus a voluntary choice of donation for what you think my time is worth, preferably included within the envelope or otherwise via PayPal, is more than welcome. The voluntary donation does not have to be money necessarily. I will accept anything else you´re not interested in anymore instead, old hardware for instance (Old UMD Games / UMD Movies you do not play anymore, PS2 games, low capacity memory sticks, batteries, fascias, bricked PSPs or motherboards, PS2 controllers, RAM Memory for my Inspiron 8600, .... Donation is NOT COMPULSORY. I am not in this for the money, just to give to the big PSP community in return for all the satisfaction  I have been getting all this years from it. However, please understand that both the memory stick and battery conversion and the posting of the parcel will take an important part of my precious time, therefore if you do not donate anything at all do not expect me to prioritise helping you against all the other much more interesting stuff surrounding my busy life. If there is a donation involved I will understand that you appreciate I am dedicating part of my busy and scarce spare time and I will make sure the job gets done ASAP and posted back to you without any delays.
 
Donations so far: Slim PS2 , UMD games (x2), 32MB Memory Stick and an undetermined amount of money enough for a few beers .

Other info:

• I am prepared to downgrade/unbrick for people based anywhere in the world, as long as you are prepared to cover the postage costs both ways.
• I´m afraid I am NOT renting / leasing neither my Lumines nor my GTA:LCS UMD games. They´re the only ones I´ve got.
• Before sending any bricked PSP please ensure that they got bricked in the process of upgrading/downgrading firmwares or personalizing it (fiddling with flash0 memory). If the bricked PSP is a result of a hardware failure this method will NOT work.
• I could also help installing any CFW available if you are interested.
• NO HELP or SUPPORT whatsoever will be given in terms of ISOs, so refrain from asking anything related.
• Don´t mind meeting locally for the downgrading process... (Pub, Starbucks etc...) as long as you live nearby and I do not have anything else to do.
• Should you choose posting it, you should send it via insured post covering the value of the contents in full (For instance Royal Mail´s  Recorded Delivery ONLY covers up to £35 for damaged/lost items by default): 
  
  • For the PSP this costs about £7 each way in the UK, about 15€ for European countries, and maybe $20 each way for the US.
  • For the Battery/Memory Stick, postage will be considerable cheaper (About £2 each way for 1st class recorded delivery within UK).
  • People will have to follow a specific packaging/wrapping procedure to post the PSP or Battery/Memory Stick set as to ensure the integrity of the parcel contents in transit (<- Click to view). I will not be liable for any damage occurred during transit, so make sure everything is properly packaged prior to be posted . I will use EXACTLY the same postage procedure (packaging/wrapping) that you used.
  • My aim to do the process on the very same day that I receive the parcel, and to get it posted back to you the following day. If everything goes fine, you should expect a turn around of maximun of 4-5 days from when you initially posted it until you get it back (This is within the UK only).

Experience:  I've been downgrading peoples psp's since it was an option.  Have gotten quite good at it since, and not one brick yet.

However, if you have an 8 gig memory stick pro duothat you don't want, or  an 8gig sd memory stick that you don't want I will gladly take that instead of the fee.  Please no fake memory stick pro duos/sd cards as I can tell a fake one from a real one.  

Other Info:  My services are only for Psp lovers who reside in the United States of America, and who are willing to own the responsibility of a possible brick during process of downgrade. (which has never as of yet happened to me.)  I have unbricked all versions of motherboards so far. TA079-TA086.  Just to be sure i'm not liable for anything that could happen i'm asking for a signature on a waiver before service will be administered.

How to mail:

*You must pay both ways for shipping*
1.  Buy two envelopes with insurance and postage at your local post office.
2.  Address one envelope to me, and one envelope to you.
3.  Place psp in the envelope with your name on it.
4.  Place the envelope with your name on it in an envelope with my name on it.
5.  Drop in mail.

This makes it really easy to mail back to you after services have been applied to your psp.

Make sure you insure the package as well so that it doesn't get lost or stolen en route to me. (I will have to sign for the package when it arrives)

I will receive your psp, downgrade it (update first if needed), run a key cleaner if applicable, then update to any current OE or m33 custom firmware with all of the latest patches, and then turn around and mail your beloved psp back to you.

Feel free to ask any question/s you may have as no question will be ignored.  However I am a busy person and may not answer immediately, but I will answer. (that I promise)

I now offer an "Unbricking" service for the GP2X.  If you have the old model MarkI send with a compatable gp2x charger.  If you have the new model Mark II then send unit with 1 pair of fully charged "AA" batteries.

NOTE   If you have bricked your gp2x while downgrading from 3.0.0 to 2.0.0 I charge $100.  All regular brick cases I only charge $50 as the process of unbricking is very tedious at times. (usually takes a few hours for the gp2x to recognize unbricking process therefore allowing the U-BOOT (bootloader) to flash to the gp2x.

Experience: I have downgraded my own PSP three times with no problems at all, from official firmware 2.81, custom firmware 3.40 OE-A and custom firmware 3.52 M33-4 on a TA-082 machine.

Experience: first started out with the 2.00 TIFF exploit, and downgraded to 1.5.  then moved in between those versions, also using the eLoader [at the time, called fanjita's eboot loader] when i wanted to play GTA:LCS.  written user and kernel mode applications, and made a private release WLAN packet logger [for later disassembly by a more powerful system].  used illuminati exploit on my fiancee's psp to downgrade her from a forced upgrade of 3.50, down to 1.5.  have successfully created pandora's battery [sony jigkick], and tested it with success on two psps.

In summary: tiff exploit, gta:lcs user mode exploit, tiff WLAN shim, lumines illuminati exploit, pandora's battery/sony jigkick.

Fee: donations via paypal are nice, but at least deposit enough to guarantee return shipping.

Miscellaneous: can also upgrade you to the firmware version of your choice.  contact me via the forum, and i'll provide more information in regards to the transaction.
