Experience: Owned a PSP since April, 2007. I was stuck on 3.40 for a while until the Illuminati, upgraded to 3.40 OE-A, then more recently to M33's custom firmware. I have successfully downgraded six PSPs so far and no bricks whatsoever.

Update (Aug/23/2008): I am also now able to install 3.80 via Pandora, if that's what you're into. No you still can't have my copy of Lumines.

Other info: I am not responsible for a brick. I am capable of following directions, and you should be aware of the risks involved before thinking of downgrading. I will not install commercial software (ISOs) for you, but I will install homebrew if you'd like. I can also upgrade your PSP to the latest CFW of your choice (OE, M33, etc.) Also please be aware that installing custom firmware will void your warranty.

Update: Please do not ask me if I can send you my Lumines UMD because the answer is no. Sorry, but there is just no guarantee that I would ever get it back, and I'd rather not have to buy another UMD from the eBay parasites. I will also NOT send you my pandora battery and memory stick for the same reasons above.

Experience:  I've been downgrading peoples psp's since it was an option.  Have gotten quite good at it since, and not one brick yet.
Fee:  I do charge $20.00, as I don't believe that anyone should pay the full "retail" price of $40.00 .
However, if you have an 8 gig memory stick pro duothat you don't want, or  an 8gig sd memory stick that you don't want I will gladly take that instead of the fee.  Please no fake memory stick pro duos/sd cards as I can tell a fake one from a real one.

Other Info:  My services are only for Psp lovers who reside in the United States of America, and who are willing to own the responsibility of a possible brick during process of downgrade. (which has never as of yet happened to me.)  I have unbricked all versions of motherboards so far. TA079-TA086.  Just to be sure i'm not liable for anything that could happen i'm asking for a signature on a waiver before service will be administered.

How to mail:

Make sure you insure the package as well so that it doesn't get lost or stolen en route to me. (I will have to sign for the package when it arrives)

I will receive your psp, downgrade it (update first if needed), run a key cleaner if applicable, then update to any current OE or m33 custom firmware with all of the latest patches, and then turn around and mail your beloved psp back to you.

Feel free to ask any question/s you may have as no question will be ignored.  However I am a busy person and may not answer immediately, but I will answer. (that I promise)

I now offer an "Unbricking" service for the GP2X.  If you have the old model MarkI send with a compatable gp2x charger.  If you have the new model Mark II then send unit with 1 pair of fully charged "AA" batteries.

NOTE   If you have bricked your gp2x while downgrading from 3.0.0 to 2.0.0 I charge $100.  All regular brick cases I only charge $50 as the process of unbricking is very tedious at times. (usually takes a few hours for the gp2x to recognize unbricking process therefore allowing the U-BOOT (bootloader) to flash to the gp2x.
