So they should pay you 30$ for a guide how to downgrade?
well, that is a hefty fine for something that is free and easy.

OK.  I am a noob!  But I have followed these instructions up and down, line by line to the letter.  I know I have done it correctly.  There must be something wrong.  Below is the info about my PSP.

I have downgraded it to 1.50

PSP-1001
(Fat PSP)
Using Sont 3.6v 2200mah battery and or TOOL pandora battery or MAX Power 3.6v 1800 Battery. (Can't seem to get it with any)

When I have the Magic Memory stick in with the standard Sony battery, I can get in.

When I have the Magic memory stick ijn with one of the Pandora batteries, I end up at the pandora restore screen (to downgrade) but I can't get past that.  Should I have the standard battery in when trying to play.

When I start up with the standard batter, I get a "Corrupt data"  I am very frustrated.

I bought this on ebay a while back and I am wondering if there could be something wrong with it.

I have confirmed that the Pandora tool has the 0xffffffffff number.  So I know that is right.....  What could be wrong.  Please let me know.

thanks a lot. for your help.

Confused to say the least.

Have you downgraded to firmware 1.50, if so you can now install custom firmware.

If not maybe try a different guide like http://forums.noobz.eu/do...xt-guide-in-progress-x/0/ remember you need a PSP with CFW already on it to create the magic memory stick, skip the pandora battery bit as you have an off the shelve model.
