do you mean a slim or a newer phat one?
if the slim one, you need different files for the slim one, the pandora files are much different

ohh well you just got the wrong files on your mem stick, if it goes black, then that's just right, its trying to load something from the memory card but it is incompatible, look up on how to make the files needed for using pandora on the slim

@Advenger your battery is incompatible i belive.
it is normal that the eeprom.bin is only 1k big but that random error adress sounds strange.
what kind of battery do you have?
If it works you should just be able to write back the eeprom.bin to make the battery normal again.

@Tinnguyen123 reading the guide could have saved you that ^^
there are only two kinds of PSP concerning the pandora. Classic ones(Fat) and Slim ones(Anorexic).
The color does not matter.
The first one made (this one) is only for classic PSP's. Then came Dark Alex's Despertar del Cementerio for slim PSP's.

Simple downloading of Magic memmorystick files is illegal since it contains decrypted, modified copyrighted files. Thats why the only pseudo legal way to make it is to have a homebrew capable PSP.

Hi, I'm an uber noob here. Is it possible to downgrade PSP-2000 FB with firmware 3.8 now? Do I have to wait till Dark Alex releases m33 3.8 before investing on a Pandora Set or should I start now. I screwed up my psp just after 2 days. Any assistance is deeply appreciated. Thanks.

how did you manage to screw up your slim PSP? ^^

there SHOULD be no problem using the pandora set on that psp. just make shure the magic stick is a 'despertar del cementerio v3' or another Stick model that is slim compatible.
it will install 3.71m33-2 Custom firmware
Dont try to run the C+D magic stick on it(the one from this site) since it tries to install 1.50 and that just wont run on a Slim PSP

I made a pandora's battery wif my original psp slim battery. Here is the link if you need help.http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZKFnuCfTPZo.

I downgraded my psp slim form 3.80 to 3.71 m33 and upgraded to 3.71 m33-4
Somehow my psp got bircked. I made the V3 unbriker and ran it on both of my psp slims. For some reason it stops at "formating flash1" and stays there for hours. So far its been there for 2 days.

Can someone help me plz. Im open to all ideas.

Thanks

it sounds like that you didn't let it shut itself off when you installed the m33-4. I'd suggest trying to get a friend to make a Pandora with an original battery, and make sure your mem card is magicgate support. Waraku wrote a good article here on the forums on how to tell.

Recently, I converted my battery to a JigKick. When I attempted to convert it back by writing the original EEPROM it displayed the familiar "0x14" and said something along the lines of "write errors occurred". I redumped the EEPROM and compared it to the original and it differs by two bytes, 0xfe (43 -> f0) & 0xff (c8 -> d1).

The battery appears to work fine, but I'm just wondering if it's anything to worry about (?). Any way to get the original EEPROM written properly?

i had an error at 0x14 on my battery too, it sould be nothing to worry.
