I have a 1000 Fat psp with 3.90 OFW on it. I ordered a pandora battery (which I havent recieved yet though). I have an 8GB memory stick and another 1GB memory stick which I want to turn into a magic memory stick. I found a website LINK REMOVED    that told me how to make a magic memory stick with any OFW. I did that and everything worked out fine. Do I need anything else put on that memory stick before I go a pop that and the pandora battery into my psp, like do I need something that will downgrade it to 1.50?

Hi Flyerswincup2004

First of all sorry for removing your link Sad
Here i can tell you only that there are possibilitys to create a working Magic memorystick without a homebrew capable PSP.
BUT an integral part of those installers are Firmware files and modified original Firmware files that are under the copyright laws forbidden to distribute.
On these pages we have a strict NO PIRACY rule and sadly those files fall in the same category as ISO's and game ROM's

Today there are so many installer applications that it is impossible to know them all and every day new ones are released and updated.
In general if you follow the Instructions you should be fine.

In general spoken:
With the Pandora Battery and the Magic memorystick you DONT need to downgrade first
since you will be using a service mode of the PSP to access the Flash drives of the PSP directly.
But please do a Backup of your PSP's original NAND (the Flash memory of your PSP)
That backup allows you to make your PSP 'virgin' again Wink
Every installer should have the option to do such a backup.
If not.... Please dont use it!
