is it possible to downgrade 4.** w/o pandora?

not really looking for an instructional. (i'm quite content just going up to cfw3.90m33-3 and sitting there awhile)

but here's the story anyways:
buddy of mine traded an iphone3G (worthless POS) for a psp fat with ofw2.71.

upon hearing of this wonderful trade, i happily said, "YO! i could have you playing with a rubik's cube in no time!" okay. i think i had this diehard nintendo fan at SuperMarioWar but i'm all about that cube at work. *coughsecurityguardcough*

anyways, anticipating my arrival he upgraded the thing to ofw4.05 - i can only guess thinking this would help? - i stared at the thing like it was bricked.

after numerous pages of, "you MUST use pandora" or "guaranteed! DOWNGRADE ALL SYSTEMS!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! for 20$/subscription" i had given up attempting to help him.


is there a way to downgrade without pandora or not?

No... you must have pandora to downgrade, no other option. However you can still downgrade his PSP by turning his batery into a pandora and using ac power to perform the proceduers! Then you can just turn it back into a normal one again!

It's plain simple! As long as you follow all the instructions and use the PSP responsibly.
