hello newbie needs some help with downgrading, really simple

Try copying some other picture images (jpgs) in the mso:/PHOTO/ folder and see if that makes a difference.

Also you can try formatting the stick, and start doing everything from scratch. (Copying HEN_280 and the rest of the necessary files from a totally clean memory stick)

Also double check all the required filer are installed. (Probably you want to try disabling any antivirus installed, as some of them will identify the TIFF exploited file as a virus, although it is not, and hence will not be copied onto the memory stick)

Let us know if it worked.

Don't despair either. It is been known of people trying as many times as 100 to get the exploit running.

when i tried to upload the HEN on the 2.71 verision it didn't work then either! O dear! why wont it work!

I can only suggest what WaKaRu just said... format and try again.

All I can say from being on the scene for over a year, that patience really pays off, and if you have a goal and you're determined to reach it, it'll eventually come true.

thank you for all your help! i have an exam tomorrow so i shouldn't really do anymore now should be revising. on tuesday (my next free day) i'm gunna start all over again and print off all the instructions and go through them. if i get stuck at all i'll be straight back! lol
