 Huh

Hi folks,

I'm just about to use the Pandora but before  I've searched about it and have not found if it's including version 2.82.

Do i need any special upgrade or GTA/ LUmines before I'm starting with the process?

Please let me know.

Thanks for all great work that you've done. Wink

Do you have a Pandoras battery and magic memory stick just now, as this will downgrade your 2.82., or are you just looking at ways you can downgrade.

Hi Yomtov,

Do some research here http://forums.noobz.eu/downgrader-support/0/ you need to look at guides for firmware higher than your 2.82.

If you have a copy of the required GTA or Lumines UMD your are laughing and you can proceed with the guides and downgrade.

However if not you may have to look at using a Pandora battery.

Do you have any friends with a PSP with Custom Firmware installed, as they can help you create a pandora battery and magic memory stick.

My advice is do not rush in, research first, ensuring you meet all requirements 100% and if in doubt ask.

Good luck

Hi Kendo2748,

unfortunatley I dont have those UMD's, I'll check where I can get them. Do you know if those game are available in the market?
All my freinds they using latest versions of OS on their PSP. No one know how to do downgrade.( As you probably know, once you buy the PSP game from the store ,it force you to run OS update on PSP, if not it does not let you play the game).

Anyway, I've checked the "Classic Pandora's Battery Set - Tutorial / Guide [For Classic PSPs ONLY] "  I'm not sure if my PSP is stands in the requirements, for instance :

Custom Firmware such as OE, M33 or WC, ( I've copied the original text below).

I think I don't have this Custom firmware.  So I'm not sure what is best for me to do.  Undecided

Thank you for you help, I'm appreciating it very much.  Wink

What is it?
-----------
A universal PSP unbricker / downgrader by the Prometheus project, also known as Team C+D (Create & Destroy).

It´s a set consisting of a Jigkick Battery and a Magic Memory Stick which will allow you to:

Unbrick and downgrade any PSP-100* (TA-079 - TA-086) (Old "fat" PSPs).
Downgrade any PSP-100* (TA-079 - TA-086) from any SONY official firmware (i.e. 3.71) or CFW back to 1.50

Requirements
--------------
In order to obtain one you will need the following:

A Fat PSP with a Custom Firmware such as OE, M33 or WC, or a fat PSP with the 1.5 original kernel. You can borrow your friend's, girlfriend's etc if yours is not homebrew capable yet.
A spare PSP Battery. Not all makes will work (Read the Compatibility Section bellow). Using a spare is best, as it will not be possible to boot the PSP in its normal state with the modified battery, although there is a "trick" if you only have one battery (Explained further down).
A spare Memory Stick Pro Duo of less than 4GB. 64MB should be enough for all the required applications.

Hi Yomtov,

No your psp does not meet the requirements of the downgrade guide you mention above as you are on official sony firmware 2.82 from what you have told us and I assume you have a FAT PSP.

Right as per a lot of people you don't have a friend with a Custom Firmware PSP so that you can create the Pandora kit, there is a couple of options you can persue, try and get a copy of the required GTA or Lumines UMDs, ebay etc, google it, Or you can buy an already to go Pandora's battery, they are manufactured by Datel. DATEL TOOL battery and google "newbie easy installer" which will help you create the magic memory stick.

You could always try the people that can help you downgrade thread on this forum.

Let us know how you get on.
