Hey guys iv searched this site and the internet quiet abit to try find out how to change batteries to pandora batteries. Iv got two batteries one which i want to use as a regular batt and one that id like to convert to a pandora. The only thing is i cant seem to find out how to perform the operation for this battery which is an original sony battery 3.6v 1800mAh. I cant find any tuts for this model. My battery is similar to the one in this link although the connector on the very top of the chip is facing a different direction.

My digital camera isnt too good and it wont focus well enough to take a decent image. Any help would be great. Theres an ICO1 and ICO2 on the underside of the chip if i lift it up from the battery. but cant find a ICO4.

Im pretty sure this could be the model of battery i have except i cant find any larger images or tutorials telling how to convert this battery. thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Is there realy no other way for you?

You can make a pandora battery through software and change it back to normal after you dont need it anymore.

I belive you can even use the OpenSource Pandora Battery Tool while using ChickHEN on a PSP with 5.03 Official Firmware (i need to verify that thou '^^)

iv already got a pandora batt so i may aswell use it, im currently on OFW 5.00 so im kinda dazed and confused as to where i should go next. iv seen one or two vids showing how to downgrade but to no avail. Iv a psp 1000 with a pandora batt and 5.00 like i said. can anyone suggest the next steps to take? Ill search the forums in the mean time .
Iv got two psp's both have OFW one is 5.00 and the other is 3.40. The one with 5.00 is broken with no sound so id like to test out downgrading on that first but it seems easy enough to use lumines for the 3.40 psp. Is this method still in effect? what are the specific versions of lumines that are needed? cheers

use the 5.03 TIFF exploit (chickHEN)
then use Hellcats Recovery flasher to install 5.00m33 Customfirmware.

No pandora needed at the moment ^^

Downgading to 1.50 basicly opens homebrew heaven to you.
but to play more recent games, have the Webbrowser, Webradio, use official PSP themes and access to the Playstation store you should install Customfirmware 5.00m33-3 on the PSP Smiley
(you can find the installer on www.dark-alex.org)

to be honest even though iv got version 1.50 im clueless as to what to do with it. is the custom firmware basically the same of the official version just with the options to run homebrew stuff? and can i directly update to the 5.00m33-3 from version 1.50? what is the most stable and functional custom firmware?

also can i format by memory card back to default now that im on 1.50?

You can now format your memory stick with no problems.

Kernel 1.50 add-on is for playing some 1.50 homebrew, you can enable it by going into recovery menu, power right down and then power up while holding down right triggger.
