3.40 - 3.50 Support

Hey, I downloaded the 3.50 firmware from http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Firm...pg/12/fid/13840/catid/163 but everytime I download it and transfer it to /PSP/GAME/UPDATE my psp says it's corrupted..is this suppost to happen?
If not can someone else send me a copy or send me a mirror? Thanks.

Just make sure the filename of the file is EBOOT.PBP (For some reason since some weeks ago all files downloaded from dl.qj.net get garbage ramdom numbers at the beginning of the filename. i.e. 12143_EBOOT.PBP. If that's the case, just rename the file once downloaded to EBOOT.PBP)

Also, make sure the /PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder in your memory stick is in capital letters.

That should make it work.

If you're on MS Windows, also check that you don't have the option turned on in Windows Explorer that makes it hide the extension names for known file types  (it's set under Tools > Folder Options... > View).

If you have that turned on, it's very easy for the file to appear as EBOOT.PBP, when its full name is actually e.g. EBOOT.PBP.ZIP.
