i've formatted my memory stick and soo far soo good.
i'm stuck on  a particular part tho.
patching the IDStorage to make TA-082/086 PSP's cmopatible with 1.50 firmware.

well i don't know what mine is, there is no marks or writing when i open the UMD thingy nothing on the motherboard. i really don't want to take it appart because i don't know what i'm doing with it...
shall i continue with that step just incase it is a TA-082/086 or shall i skip it??

Read Denkai's guide here it might enlighten you to what CFW is http://forums.noobz.eu/ge...-ultimate-how-to-guide/0/

Basically if you want the most out of your psp install 3.90M33-3

Yep,
SRC is the Souce code of the downgraders, for the coders to lok at.
And you copy the contents of the MS_ROOT folder to the memory stick, not the MS_ROOT Folder itself.

What does the 'contents' refer to? The psp folder, game folder, TA082Patch and UPDATE folders or the individual files they contain?
Thanks

The contents is what you should directly copy to your PSP.

MS_ROOT resembles the rootofyour memory stick. So basicly you shouldopen the "MS_ROOT" folder, and copy and paste its' contents directly toyour memory stick.

Hope that heps!
